Opened Eyes.

I've said this a many times before, but I know that we don't really put it in perspective. Hopefully today's post will.

I wouldn't call myself an avid reader but I try and catch a little knowledge when I can. A periodical that I find interesting is Black Enterprise Magazine. This magazine dubs itself  "Your ultimate guide to financial empowerment, the premier business, investing, and wealth-building resource for African Americans.", doesn't this just grasp your attention? Hmm.. money, empowerment, and the most important BLACK! That's all we hear/see and it's a wrap from there, which is human nature but we have to start really reading and analyzing the things we take in.

The article that sparked this thought, was brought to be by a friend. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for him I would have not even noticed it. --- The even worse part is, the person in the article I'm sure doesn't know this either.          

In the February 2010 Vol. of Black Enterprise featured a beautiful, successful, innocent, African American female for her outstanding work in her field. Brenda C. Freeman is Chief Marketing Officerof Animation; Young Adults & Kids Media for Turner Broadcasting here in Atlanta, GA. She manages a $50M budget and a staff of 140. She's in charge of 3 TV networks that are in over 100M households. ; kudos to her! She hasn't or isn't doing anything wrong, clearly.

Now lets look at the bigger picture, no pun intended.

Who owns Turner Broadcasting Company? Yep, that's right.. Ted Turner. One of the biggest Antichrists known. Bet you didn't know that makes you wonder, huh? - Now, with every article/story there is a picture..

Let's see Ms. Freemans' picture.

Like I said, gorgeous, middle-aged successful female, great picture, good angle, nice colors but it's more to it...

Because of the size of it I couldn't enlarge or else I would have but the little box next to her arm says, dying is easy. - Cartoon Network, Kids, Fun, Happy, Family...- dying is easy? I wonder if she knows this, probably not....

Greetings all! Here's just an Update on StarScream Clothing. ; I know you've been waiting, whispering and wondering about what the hell is going on with us.. That's great, we're still buzzing! -- To answer all questions and concerns, read carefully. haha!

In about 2 weeks the StarScream-HaviAir collab (L) will be here and ready for you! If you want a guaranteed buy then we have pre-orders.  This image is a rough variation of what it will look like minus the names in the corner. There will be Black tees and Purple tees, all American Apparel.

MusiqMoving Monday ; A1 The SuperGroup

Well damn, where do I start? These guys are a direct representation of the definition of the word G-R-I-N-D! Hailing from the North side of Atlanta (Marietta,GA), A-1 The SuperGroup is bringing a whole new sound to the music scene. With a combination of Hip-Hop and R&B consisting of five(5) individuals- brothers, Andre and Byron, better known A.J. & B.J. (formerly of G.B.C) , Jawon Toney a.k.a  J.T.or "LovePusha" (formerly 1/2 of HardiHoodz) , Ellis Rush and Najie Brewster. A.J. , B.J. , J.T. and Najie all bring their different rapping flavors to the table and Ellis finesses the track with his vocals. A-1 has an extensive catalog of music for every type of ear whether you want something slow and sensual or something you can bob your head to in the club on Saturday night.

Managed by Kerry Reed or Mr. K.I.P, you may know A-1 The SuperGroup for what I call their debut hit "Bomb" that smashed the clubs in early 2009. Since then they've never looked back. With the release of they're first mix tape dubbed "Just For Her" on Valentines Day 2010 A-1 has shocked the locals. I have a personal relationship with these guys and I can say I am proud of my boys for all the hard work, but don't stop here.   A-1 is the North side's "Best Kept Secret" and will soon have the nation "Going Crazy"!

WiseWords Wednesday- little late, but none the less.

I've been swamped with a lot of stuff lately so my blogging has been a little off, but its all good!

Just recently, not sure exactly when, but some close friends of mine lost what seemed to be a close friend of theirs. Just as always with anything of this nature you begin to realize that death has no specific time, doesn't single one specific race, specific place. --None of that. Sometimes you think the worse things happen at the worst times; you're right! But all that does is mature you for other situations because it can always get worse. The most important thing for you to do is accept what happens; its always for a greater reason, don't question why things happen the way they do and live up to your standards so that you know within yourself that you're living the right life.

&& there you have it, your WiseWords from a WiseGui! - Stay safe,Stay clean and out of  harms way.

And in the meantime, don't let MEDIOCRITY KILL you.

MusiqMoving Monday ; Star Studdz, local R&B duo.

What better way to kick off MusiqMoving Mondays than with my own?

This week I'm featuring my music group compiled of none other than, the man-the myth-the legend, Mr.FreakieFresh, himself && of course.. the incomparable- ME! ; Enough of that.

This duo, Star Studdz started back in April of 2007, and its pretty much history from there. Although considered to be an R&B, Star Studdz have a wide spectrum of different genres of music. Being inspired my their High School mentors to start this group Likeam & Shakon have really come a long way since the idea became reality. Performing at Talents Shows, Recreational Events, School Funtions, you name it, they've done it. Star Studdz together have worked with some well known producers ; two of which are Israel Hernandez (Prod. "Hey There Delilah") and Mike Williams (Prod. Gucci Mane). These two young men are so talented that there focus isnt on one thing. Shakon is aspiring College/NFL Standout and Fashion Designer, just as Likeam has future plans in Healthcare and Business Administration. Never the less if music calls then thats what they plan to do. Currently working on a couple of new singles, one of which is a coming of age hit entitled "Do You Mind" ft. T.S.P & P.Red, whom they have worked with before on "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Swag Is Official". The other is a R&B/Reggae dance track that is definite to get you out of your seat. This single hasnt been titled yet but it features 2 from another local group, A1 TheSuperGroup. -- Its not much more to say about these soon to be pioneers of the music industry. I'd say the music speaks for itself.

Ready - Set - Go

So I got the new format for 'Mediocrity Kills", 2010 is bringing good things. To keep you interested and wanting more. 3 different days have themes, the themes will remain the same each week with different content of course. Eventually when these grow on you, you'll want more then we can expand and add more days. As of now here's what it is:
