I wouldn't call myself an avid reader but I try and catch a little knowledge when I can. A periodical that I find interesting is Black Enterprise Magazine. This magazine dubs itself "Your ultimate guide to financial empowerment, the premier business, investing, and wealth-building resource for African Americans.", doesn't this just grasp your attention? Hmm.. money, empowerment, and the most important BLACK! That's all we hear/see and it's a wrap from there, which is human nature but we have to start really reading and analyzing the things we take in.
The article that sparked this thought, was brought to be by a friend. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for him I would have not even noticed it. --- The even worse part is, the person in the article I'm sure doesn't know this either.
In the February 2010 Vol. of Black Enterprise featured a beautiful, successful, innocent, African American female for her outstanding work in her field. Brenda C. Freeman is Chief Marketing Officerof Animation; Young Adults & Kids Media for Turner Broadcasting here in Atlanta, GA. She manages a $50M budget and a staff of 140. She's in charge of 3 TV networks that are in over 100M households. ; kudos to her! She hasn't or isn't doing anything wrong, clearly.
Now lets look at the bigger picture, no pun intended.
Who owns Turner Broadcasting Company? Yep, that's right.. Ted Turner. One of the biggest Antichrists known. Bet you didn't know that makes you wonder, huh? - Now, with every article/story there is a picture..
Let's see Ms. Freemans' picture.
Like I said, gorgeous, middle-aged successful female, great picture, good angle, nice colors but it's more to it...
Because of the size of it I couldn't enlarge or else I would have but the little box next to her arm says, dying is easy. - Cartoon Network, Kids, Fun, Happy, Family...- dying is easy? I wonder if she knows this, probably not....
